Name of the project: Don’t play with fire
First idea: Each child being at home, especially alone must know that:
· understanding the causes and effects of fires
· know how safe behavior during the fire.
Subjects: English language, Art, Informatics/ICT, Cross Curricular, Media Education
Pupil´s age: 7 – 12 years
Languages: English
Project length: about 2 months
Tools to be used: Audio conference, Chat, e-mail, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Video conference, Web publishing
Aims:
1. Get to know children from sister school. Support international cooperation and communication in between partners. Develop responsibilities to cooperate long distance.
2. Get better in communication in english language.
3. Perfecting usage of ICT.
4. Get to know the main requirements for the fire.
5. Develop imagination of children (crossword about fire).
6. Get to know employment position associated with fire (firefighter).
Expected results:
We expect that children will gain bigger motivation and positive relationship for education under influence of parnership from abroad.We believe the learninf will be for children fun. Also we expect that project will help them understanding the causes and effects of fires, to know how safe behavior during the fire We expect also that this project will enrich teachers ICT and language skills
